One (1) or two (2) fellowships will be awarded each year to deserving scholars engaged in graduate level, post-doctoral, or independent study to conduct research in the JDC Archives facility in New York or Jerusalem. The amount granted will range from $2,000 to $5,000 per fellow.

UCLA undergraduates in all majors are eligible to apply as long as the project is focused in some way on Jewish Studies. Priority will be given to proposals with a connection to civic engagement and/or social ethics.

The Frimer First Generation Student Scholarship is being awarded to an incoming or current college student seeking a bachelor's degree at an accredited college or university who has demonstrated an impact of leadership, entrepreneurship, and/or volunteerism in their local or campus community. To qualify as a first-generation student, the applicant鈥檚 parents/guardians must not have completed a four-year college or university degree. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and must self-identify as Jewish.
The LBI offers a fellowship for students enrolled in a Ph.D. program at an accredited institution of higher education. The fellowships provide financial assistance to scholars whose research projects are connected with the culture and history of German-speaking Jewry. Applicants must be enrolled in a Ph.D. program.
The Fromer Fellowship was established in 1994 with a gift from Dr. Carl Fromer in memory of his mother Irene C. Fromer, and is to be given to a deserving graduate student in Jewish studies researching ancient Jewish history. The recipient is chosen from the applicants to the Institute for Israel and Jewish Studies fellowship program.

The Geifman Prize in Holocaust Studies is an annual student competition with awards up to $500. A submission may take the form of an essay, research paper, poem, drama, film, artwork, musical composition, or other creative expression.This scholarship is only for Augustana students.
